Frequently Asked Questions

Have a read through all the FAQ's so you are prepared for your stay with us. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Do you have any parking?

We do not have any on-site parking. Here are our best recommendations:
 

1. We have an exclusive deal with the Britannia Multi-Storey Car Park, 24 hours of parking for just £6. Upon entry to the car park you will receive a yellow token. Bring this token to the hotel reception to be validated, this will enable the discounted rate, which you pay when leaving the car park.

2.  Alternatively, there is the Pavilion Car Park which is a 4 minute walk away and offers free parking from 6pm-8am then hourly rates in the remaining hours (10 hours of parking for £9 in the winter and £15 in the summer). This option is good for guests who will be using their car during the day as you pay hourly rather than the block rate in the Britannia Car Park.

Do you serve food?

White Pepper have recently moved into our kitchen. They serve a cooked a-la-carte breakfast every morning from 8:00am until 11:00am.  Breakfast is not included within room rates.

They also serve a dinner menu from 5pm until 9:30pm.

Do you allow pets to stay?

Unfortunately we do not accept pets (only service pets) as we have to keep in mind potential allergies of our other guests.

Are your facilities disabled friendly?

We have a lift in the hotel. If stairs are an issue, please get in touch with us as some rooms may require an additional few steps once out of the lift. Please note, upon arrival there are 5 steps to enter the building, a member of our team would be more than happy to help with any heavy lifting of wheelchairs, luggage etc.

Do you allow large groups?

Due to having over 60 rooms, we are ideal for large bookings. The full accommodation can house over 150 guests, so if you are looking to book for a large group trip then please get in touch for availability. 

We do not allow Hen or Stag events, or any groups that we feel may hinder the enjoyment of other guests. If you are unsure, please ask before booking.

Do the rooms have air-conditioning installed?

As we are currently under-going a refurbishment only some of rooms currently have air-conditioning installed. If you would like this, please get in touch with us.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

We do have free Wi-Fi at the hotel, this is available in the reception area and some rooms at the front of the hotel.

Do you have any extras in the room?

All of our rooms are en-suite with a shower, have coffee/tea making facilities and a wardrobe with hangers. We have hairdryers, irons and iron boards that are available so do not hesitate to ask reception for any items you may need.

Does the hotel have a bar?

There is a bar located in our reception area which is open all day up until 10pm.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is between 4pm and 9pm. If you plan to arrive earlier please let us know, and we will do our best to get it ready in time, however we can keep your bags in a secure location if your room isn't ready. If you are going to be late, we do have a key-safe. 

Check-out is by 10am. There is a late check-out fee of £20 if you want to check-out by midday.

What is your cancellation policy?

Guests can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. Guests will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 3 days before arrival. 

Group bookings (3 or more rooms) may have a more stringent policy depending on number of rooms and time of year, please ask about this before you book.
